In a move set to amplify its ties with the racing world, Betfred has solidified its commitment by securing the prestigious naming rights to the renowned Betfred Derby Festival at Epsom Downs. The announcement marks a significant extension of the company’s partnership with The Jockey Club, signaling Betfred’s resolute support for the sport of kings.
This prolonged partnership, slated to endure at least until 2026, underscores Betfred’s steadfast dedication to reinforcing its association with racing. Notably, the extended deal encompasses additional backing for an increased number of races during the festival, elevating the spectacle with a total of six exhilarating races across the two-day event.
This extension builds upon the foundation of an initial three-year agreement unveiled earlier in the year, effectively adding another year to the alliance. Fred Done, the Founder of Betfred, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, remarking, “Following on from a memorable two days at Epsom last year we are delighted to further develop our support of the Betfred Derby Festival and we very much look forward to working with Amy and her team to keep the fixture at the forefront of world racing.”
