In November 2023, Nevada’s gaming industry achieved an unprecedented milestone. According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s recent report, the cumulative gaming win across all nonrestricted venues reached $1.37 billion statewide, reflecting a notable 12.56% upsurge compared to the previous year.
During the three months leading up to November, gaming revenue amounted to $3.96 billion, showcasing a 5.56% increase. Additionally, over the 12-month period ending in November, there was a 4.93% surge, totaling $15.4 billion in gaming revenue. When examining revenue figures across different regions, Clark County saw notable gains in November. Venues generating $1 million or more in revenue reached a total of $1.2 billion, marking a substantial 14.43% increase. The collective gaming win for the month across all nonrestricted establishments in Clark County amounted to $1.2 billion, demonstrating a noteworthy 14.34% surge.
The triumph extended beyond major revenue brackets. In the Carson Valley Area, nonrestricted venues achieved a gaming win of $11.1 million, indicating a 9.21% increase in November. However, over the preceding three-month and 12-month periods, the area encountered slight fluctuations and declines in gaming revenue.
The success observed in November can be chiefly attributed to the Formula 1 event held at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. This prestigious event attracted high-profile investors such as Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, generating excitement around the BWT Alpine F1 Race Team. The Venetian’s strategic position along the Strip allowed it to oversee a significant section of the racecourse.
